About the Volvo XC40
The XC40 was the first Volvo on the CMA platform and the car that brought the brand's safety technology and clean Scandinavian design to a compact, city-friendly package. It is one of the easiest premium crossovers to live with - and one of the easiest to hide a tracking phone inside.

Modern cars are permanently connected: the maker's own app knows where your car is and routes that data through its cloud, very often on the other side of the world. Our approach is the opposite. Tracking runs entirely on a phone you own, and your location history lives in your own SpySat account. We do not pass it to the car maker's servers and we do not send it to any foreign data centre. You decide who can see where your car is.
