About the Jeep Wrangler
The Wrangler is the original go-anywhere 4x4, and the 4xe made it a best-selling PHEV in the US. For trail runs and remote trips, an independent location history is genuinely useful.
Where to mount a tracking phone in the Wrangler
- Under the rear bench - flat and dry, the best hidden spot.
- Glovebox / centre console - easy access and USB power.
- Under-floor cargo area - a padded pouch keeps it secure.
- Power - USB or 12 V; add a power bank for long trips.
- Signal - the removable roof is ideal; avoid metal roll-cage contact.

Modern cars are permanently connected: the maker's own app knows where your car is and routes that data through its cloud. Our approach is the opposite. Tracking runs entirely on a phone you own, and your location history lives in your own SpySat account. We do not pass it to the car maker and we do not send it to any foreign data centre.
